McGeady continues work on Spaces for People in Glasgow City Centre

John McGeady were awarded works in and around Glasgow City Centre on the Spaces for People programme during the lockdown of 2020.

Through Spaces for People, we have carried out work on George Square, Royston Road, Wallacewell Road, Braidcraft Road, Cambridge Street, Clarence Drive, Provanmill Road, Hawthorne Street, Corkerhill Road and Brockburn Road.

Supported by funding from the Scottish Government administered by Sustrans Scotland, Glasgow's Spaces for People programme has seen short term measures implemented in Glasgow's city centre, city neighbourhoods and active travel routes.

Spaces for People has widened footways at pinch points to facilitate safer pedestrian movement and easier access to shops, businesses, community facilities and public transport hubs.
